Super Scoopers fill up at Puddingstone Lake PDF Print E-mail

Puddingstone Lake aids figherfighters at the Chino Hills, Yorba Linda and Corona Fires.  On Saturday, November 15, 2008 , the Super Scoopers (Quebec 1 and Quebec 2) did a great job bringing their airplanes into Puddingstone Lake at Frank G. Bonelli Park in San Dimas, CA.  They cleared power lines, light poles and the dam before diving onto Pudddingstone Lake, filling their 2400 gallon water tanks and continuing across the lake and pulling up right before the end of lake. They continued using the lake till the sunlight diminished before sunset.

11/16/08 UPDATE 10:14AM: Call was made to Bonelli Park to advise them that the Super Scoopers may be returning today.  All boats were cleared from the lake as a precaution.  Per Dave Campbell, Bonelli Park Superintendent
