may be referred to staff or set for discussion at a later date. If you desire to address the City Council on an

item on this agenda, other than a scheduled public hearing item you may do so at this time or asked to be

RESOLUTION NO. 08-67, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF SAN DIMAS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CERTAIN DEMANDS FOR THE

MONTHS OF NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER, 2008.

(2) RESOLUTION NO. 08-68, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF SAN DIMAS APPROVING BUILDING STANDARDS FEE RETENTION AS

AUTHORIZED BY SENATE BILL 1473 (CALDERON).

b. Ordinances read by title, further reading waived, passage and adoption recommended as follows:

(1) ORDINANCE NO. 1184, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

SAN DIMAS AMENDING CHAPTERS 5.08 AND 5.77 OF THE SAN DIMAS

MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING MASSAGE BUSINESSES.

(2) ORDINANCE NO. 1185, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

SAN DIMAS APPROVING MUNICIPAL CODE TEXT AMENDMENT 08-05,

AMENDING VARIOUS CHAPTERS OF TITLE 18 OF THE SAN DIMAS ZONING

CODE REGARDING MASSAGE BUSINESSES.

c. Approval of minutes for the regular City Council meeting of November 25, 2008 and City

Council/Staff Retreat meeting of November 15, 2008.

d. Award of Cash Contract 2008-12 to W. H. Byars Roofing, in the amount of $16,900.00, for San

Dimas Canyon Golf Course Club House roof maintenance coating and membrane installation.

e. Overlay and reconstruction of city parking lot south of First Street at Exchange Place (Vehicle

Parking District 1).

1. Appropriation of $135,395.00 from the Redevelopment Fund

2. Award of Cash Contract 2008-14 Overlay and reconstruction of city parking lot south of First

Street at Exchange Place to Gentry Brothers, Inc., in the amount of $109,038.90.

f. Tax Sharing Resolutions approving and accepting negotiated exchange of property tax revenues

resulting from annexation to County Sanitation District No. 22 (Annexation No. 407) on San

Dimas Canyon Road at La Mesa Oak Road.

g. Approval of submission of Walnut Avenue et al street rehabilitation project plan for the second

round of State Proposition 1B local streets and road improvements bond funds.

h. Intelligent Transportation System Project (ITS)

(1) Approval of Cooperative Agreement with the County for Installation of a Traffic Control

Center in the City

(2) Approval and Award of Contract to Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for the Installation and

Maintenance of the Project

a. Designation of area for future Gold Line Station.

b. CONSIDERATION OF APPEAL OF DPRB CASE NO. 08-48 – An appeal of the

Development Plan Review Boards’ denial of a request for a membrane structure in the

outdoor patio of the San Dimas Wine Shop located at 225 W. Bonita Avenue (APN:

8387-014-037).

6. OTHER BUSINESS

a. Approval of the City's annual independent Audited Financial Statements.

b. Restrictions for Registered Sex Offenders:

ORDINANCE NO. 1186, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

SAN DIMAS, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING

CHAPTER 8.40 TO TITLE 8, RELATING TO RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS FOR

REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS.

c. Waste Management rate increase.

7. SAN DIMAS REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

a. Oral Communications (This is the time set aside for members of the audience to address the

Board. Speakers are limited to three minutes.)

b. Approval of the Minutes for meeting of November 25, 2008.

1) Disposition of the Pearman loan for affordable housing assistance; property located at 441

West Fourth Street.
