Public Input Requested for Farmers’ Market Proposal

January 10, 2019 by calmed

On February 27, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. the San Dimas City Council will hear input from the community regarding a proposal for a Farmer’s Market event to be held in the downtown area.

The proposed Farmer’s Market would take place on Monday evenings on Bonita Avenue from San Dimas Avenue to Monte Vista Avenue during the months of April through October from 5:00 – 9:00pm, with the option of expanding to Cataract Avenue based upon success of the event. The Farmers’ Market would include various categories of participation including agricultural producers, prepared food producers, commercial food vendors, arts and craft vendors, nonprofit organizations, health and beauty vendors, youth-oriented vendors, performing artists, downtown merchants and sponsors.

The City Council welcomes comments and discussion at the City Council Meeting on February 27. Attendance at the meeting is encouraged; however, comments may be sent by mail to City Hall, 245 East Bonita Avenue, San Dimas, CA 91773, Attention Parks and Recreation, or Email Comments to parksrecreation@ci.san-dimas.ca.us.

HAPPY 4th of JULY 2006!!!!! ENJOY YOUR DAY!

As the city to the East of San Dimas, La Verne is a convenient place to enjoy July 4th celebrations.  There will be the Independence Day parade, Country Fair, Free Watermelon and Swimming, Deep Pit Barbecue and of course, the fireworks and music at Bonelli High School.  The best place to watch the fireworks without paying would be off of “D” Street near the high school.   Read more below… (includes schedule of events)

There will also be a fireworks display and music at Diamond Bar High School sponsored by the City of Diamond Bar.
